ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC)
ACC helps reduce driver fatigue on long trips and when driving in traffic. The system uses millimetre-wave radar and a monocular camera to measure the distance to the vehicle ahead and will accelerate or decelerate as needed.
FRONT AND REAR PARKING SENSOR
Ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumper detect obstacles when reversing. (GLX only) Both models include ABS with EBD and ESP.
HIGH BEAM ASSIST
Headlamps automatically switch to low beam when you experience oncoming traffic or vehicles driving ahead.
PEDESTRIAN INJURY MITIGATING BODY
The structure of the Across’ bonnet, front windscreen wiper area, front bumper and other parts absorb impact with the aim of mitigating head and leg injury in the event of a collision with a pedestrian.
SIX AIRBAGS
Protect both driver and passengers. The Across comes standard with SRS airbags. Front SRS side airbags reduce impact to the chest in case of side collision, SRS curtain airbags reduce impact to the head in all grades.
REAR CROSS
TRAFFIC ALERT (RCTA)
RCTA is a supplementary safety feature that uses millimeter-wave radar sensors to detect and warn of vehicles approaching from the left or right when backing out of a space.
LANE KEEP ASSIST (LKA) AND LANE DEPARTURE PREVENTION (LDP)
When ACC is activated, LKA helps the driver maintain the vehicle’s position in the centre of the lane.
LDP detects the left and right lane demarcation lines and predicts the vehicle’s path.
BLIND SPOT MONITOR
BSM uses millimetre-wave radar sensors in the read bumper to detect vehicles located in or approaching the read blind spots on either side of the vehicle.
